As a child, Patrick fell under the influence of early synthesizer music by artists such as Wendy Carlos, and the minimal sounds of '70s Berlin. Bands such as Neu, Kraftwerk, and "Berlin period" albums by David Bowie and Iggy Pop form the deepest roots in Patrick's lexicon of musical influences.
Moving to Chicago in the Mid '80s, two disparate local scenes would leave a lasting impression on Patrick as well as changing the future of undergound music for the world at large. House Music, and the Wax Trax scene. It wasn't long before Patrick's DJ career began.
